The satellite speakers appear to be a single driver/speaker. They sound OK, but are just too small to move any amount of air for loud listening levels. Bose was my favorite before this, had their sound bar paired with acoustimass, quiet comfort headphones, Bluetooth speakers, bought and extra acoustimass with the lifestyle 650.
I bought these speakers on-line after doing a fair amount of comparative shopping – mostly evaluating what others said about this product. Everything showed up as promised and about a week ago I installed them and they worked perfectly. They conveyed a depth that was previously lacking in my system. The vocal reproductions were angelic to say the least-clear & clean & no distortion. These speakers are so good I could even detect the less-than-perfect engineering of older recordings.

It doesn’t have the snob-appeal of the big-name brands, and the sound quality probably doesn’t meet the exacting standards of true audiophiles, but for us it more than good enough. I was a bit skeptical of the wireless back speakers but they work great. My wife kept telling me how fantastic the sound was and that she can understand the dialog now where before she struggled to understand it. The sales person demonstrated the unit and listened to everything I wanted.

I own several pairs of headphones in the ~$300 range; while I don’t claim to know it all, I do know what good sound sounds like. As much as I like my speakers mounted in the corners high up on the walls, it’s not going to happen. The speakers look nice and have a nice weight to them. Same pretty much goes for the other songs, Journey Stone in Love begins dominant on one side and then goes to both speakers full volume with the guitar intro. Listen to these songs with headphones and you will see I really did check this system out with stereo audio in mind. Sure, I can hear the guitar in the chorus of Rock of Ages go from one side to the other, but that’s about it.

No one seemed to QC these units with low bass input which seems to be the cause of the disconnects . I had it setup thru Google home in seconds. Overall I’m satisfied with it, still contemplating whether I should have spent 500 more on a Bose but for this price it fits the bill. Did alot of research for a bar to replace an ancient Polk IHT 3000 soundbar in the bedroom.
I frequently listen to music and play games in my office/loft area, so I decided a 5. 1 system should work nicely there as well. 1 System is a compact home theater package with five massive sounding Prime Satellite speakers and the startlingly powerful SB-1000 Pro Subwoofer. Understandable, but it added significant time for the installation.

Don’t toss out the paper manual, as you’ll need to reset the bluetooth sub if you ever unplug it. However, they are really not a requirement to getting great sound from the Cinema 600. I’ve given the Cinema 600 four stars and not five because of some shortcomings that exist and it’s only fair that I’m honest in my assessment.
Dialogue was clear and not overbearing and the surround-sound was pretty good. Lots of options to tweak it to your satisfaction as well. Another thing is that the surrounds don’t charge unless if the system is in stand-by. So while you can use them if they’re discharged or low on battery while connected to the bar, they won’t actually charge unless if the system is off and in stand-by.
The speaker cabinets are made of strong MDF material and not particleboard like some systems out there. Was pretty impressed for the amount of sound and the Bluetooth for music was easy. Didn’t realize how much I would miss the 7.
The ball for the mounts will not hold the speakers in place when mounted to the wall. They will drop not matter how tight the set screws are. I searched online and this is a common problem. JBL products have not been of the highest quality in my recent experience. I am in the process of exchanging this unit with another via JBL support, although I think this will be fruitless. It is simply a defective product for the most part with low quality.
He even let me connect via bluetooth with my phone so I could hear my music. The sound was incredible for such tiny speakers – I was sold. The subwoofer's performance was also impressive. At 60-watts, the subwoofer isn't nearly as powerful as the one in the Polk Audiopackage, but it pairs well with the rest of the system. The bass was prominent and still had plenty of volume to go before maxing out. The subwoofer was low, punchy and powerful.
My choices were a Polk Magnifi2, Magnifi2 max or a Bose TV soundbar or 300 with the 500 bass module. I just couldn’t see spending 900 bucks for a bar to watch TV in the bedroom on a 43″ Samsung. Wish I could post pics, but waiting Tech folks to setup wall hanging and wires inside the wall. The bluetooth capability enables you to pair your phone or your computer to the system. Want to stream music through your phone? I did my research and bought the Cinema 600 system over all the other brands because it performs better and it does it at a much lower price.
